I have been married to my husband Terry for 9 years. We each have three children each. Tracy-23, Bryan-22 and Katelyn 21 (mine) and Terilee-28, Laura-27 and Adrienne-12. Adrienne has lived with us since she was 5 years old. Together we have three grand daughters Hailey-15 months (Tracy), Lillie-2 (Terilee) and Sara 14 months (Laura) and two more on the way from Bryan and Laura both grandsons this time.
I was diagnosed on 10/24/08 with Colon Cancer stage IV.
I had tumor removed from left descending colon on 10/27/08. There were three spots on liver detected during surgery.
After recovering from surgery started chemo for 6 months. My current scans so no sign of cancer....and thank god for every day I get to spend with family. I enjoy euchre, scrabble and gardening.

Hi Michelle - so glad you came to chat last night! On one site, I found nothing about vision as a side effect,BUT on this one, I did! I would keep telling your doc about it.
Hey Michelle! So happy you popped in - how are you doing/feeling? We're having a great chat tomorrow night with Dr. Laura in the chatroom - details under the chat tab above - hope you can come! I'm on the helpline tomorrow if you want to catch up!
Ugh Shelly - you have to be very careful. If you garden, or mow the lawn etc., please wear safety glasses - my husband has to be very careful like you, cause you don't want to take any chances of a twig or rock or anything hitting you in the eye!!
thinking of you,

Are you fighting a cold or infection of some sort? Any fever? If you can, try to enjoy today and if you still feel them tomorrow, I suggest you call your oncologist on call. Let us know what is happening!
Happy Thanksgiving,
jeannie
Hi Michelle, Hope you are having a good day.night. Thanks for accepting my friend invite. It is so nice to talk to others who know what I am going through.
Hi Michelle,
I hope you are feeling better today. The vision is a normal side effect, most people say it comes back in time. Some people even say their vision is better than it was before chemo after time. Let us know if we can help.
